DOULA SERVICES $2,000 - HOSPITAL BIRTHS

As a Doula I will work with you to plan for a birth experience where you feel safe and supported to birth your baby on your terms. I will hold space for you to find the fullness of your power, to trust, connect and listen to your body so to give birth in a way that makes you feel seen, heard, safe, respected and powerful.

Prenatal

• Two x prenatal sessions for around 3 hours where we meet and chat about your hopes and vision for your birth and map out your birth preferences. I'll also guide you and your partner so that you feel informed, empowered and prepared.

• We will prepare for unexpected outcomes talk about what consitutes informed consent, Provide evidenced based information so you can understand every choice you can make so yon ever look back with regrets.

• If required I will accompany you to 2 antenatal appointments.

• We will talk about how to set up your village and meal train for support in your post partum period.

• I am also available on the telephone to any answer questions you may have.

• Access to my resource library of over 50+ books and extensive listings of local birth related business and practitioners, evidenced based information and links through to an amazing selection of resources such as birth documentaries, parent education birth classes, Spinning Babies, acupressure guides, podcasts to playlists.

• I also offer at a reduced cost a maternity portrait session for the price of $100 which is for the hire of a dress from Mamma Rentals.

Birth

• I will be on call for your birth from 37 weeks and contactable 24/7 once you feel that labour. is commencing.

• Access to a full kit of labour tools so you can comfortably labour at home fully supported prior to transferring to the hospital or birth centre. (Includes tens machine, birth sling, birth ball, birth peanut, yoga bolster and all the little extras I bring in my basket to make sure you are feeling loved & nourished)

• I will come to your home to support you in labour and transfer with you intI the hospital.

• I will walk beside you and you partner during your birth experience providing emotional and physical support, comfort measures, advocacy and ensuring your wishes are heard and respected.

• A selection of photographic images of you and your baby in your golden hour.

Postnatal Debrief

• 1 x Two hour postnatal birth debrief session where we can unpack how and what happened.

• We can discuss any concerns or questions you might have and offer support and referrals if you may require them.

• I will bring a warm nourishing light meal for you and your family so that you can relax and focus on your baby’s needs

*Travel/Mileage fees apply if located more than 25km outside of Launceston

THe price reflects the increased about of hours that are invested intothe work

Three x prenatal sessions (one of which will be a home visit) for around 3 hours where we meet and chat about your hopes and vision for your birth, map out your birth preferences and set up your birth space. I'll also guide you and your partner so that you feel informed, empowered and prepared. I am also available on the telephone to any answer questions.

Access to my extensive resource library of over 50+ books and labour tools (tens machine, birth sling, birth ball, birth peanut, yoga bolster and all the little extras I bring in my basket to make sure you are feeling loved & nourished)

Birth

I will be on call for your birth from 38 weeks and contactable 24/7 once your in labour. I will walk beside you and you partner during your birth experience providing emotional and physical support, comfort measures, advocacy and ensuring your wishes are heard and respected.

Postnatal debrief

1 x Two hour postnatal birth debrief session where we can unpack how and what happened and why certain decisions were made. We can discuss any concerns or questions you might have and also so I can check in.
